My dad commenting on productivity loss
So here we are in the grips of an economic downturn, and American business has come up with yet another excuse: the NCAA tournament is zapping productivity to the loss of $1.2 billion. Can we get any stupider?
Boise’s channel 2 news hasn’t quite grasped the concept of giving away their content, so I can’t embed the video of my dad talking about the tournament vis-a-vis productivity, but here’s the link.
Really business world, can we get a grip? Note to Pronetos developers: I could care less if you are watching the tournament on the Internets, just don’t bill me for the hours, and make sure you meet the milestones. I mean c’mon, if your employees and contractors are getting the job done, and having a good time doing it, what is the issue? Lost productivity because of the NCAA? Bunk.
