Yeah, just like the guys in Nickleback, I wanna be a rock star, but I guess I’ll have to settle for being a big radio star. Our local NPR station finally started running the story about the murals, where I am interviewed as the historical expert. This is the second such NPR story I have done on this topic. I know you all listened to the national verison of the mural story where I was interviewed by Jacki Lyden for the Weekend Edition program.

In case you have missded the controversy, there are three murals in the old Ada County Courthouse, depicting an Indian being lynched. Preservationists and many others in the community have long advocated that the murals get some interpretive information attached to them, and the Idaho State Historical Society is working on that now.
