LGM1 isn’t in the habit of either referring to himself in the third person like his friends Bob Dole, and wendemm, NOR do we like to get TOO political here. BUT . . .

My brother (of 206Photography fame) just reminded me of the great classic song “Power and the Glory” by Saxon. If you are not a Saxon fan, well, I don’t blame you. Saxon was one of the cult bands that emerged during the NWOBHM - the New Wave of British Heavy Metal during the early ’80s. If you were a Saxon fan, you knew all their songs, and going to a concert was like a 2 hour greatest hits show. They are a WAY underrated band of the 1980’s. Anyway, this song is so apropos today. A lyric sample:
