Concerts, Climbing, and Christmas
As usual, LGM has been busy with jobs, school, companies, etc., but we’ve had some good quality time for the family too, you know.
Carol and I took the mangy mutts up to Castle Rock for a little climb the other day. That’s a nice close in trip. Castle Rock is out in the lower foothills in East Boise, above the old penitentiary:
And you have already heard that we went to see Van Halen in Portland. Carol, Shane, Dave and I did a little pre-funk at Tupelo Joe’s - had a little catfish, a little Bud Light, watched OSU win the Civil War. We then met up with Wyatt and Krissa and went and saw the show.
What else have I got? Oh yes. We went and saw our friend and neighbor Jerry Graves perform at the Boise Little Theatre. Jerry played the narrator in “A Christmas Story.” He did a bang up job, no surprise. We did the pre-funk at Carol’s, that’s us there below, and the post funk at Bitter Creek. We were lucky enough that Bitter Creek still has a keg of Full Sail’s “Wreck the Halls.” If you are a microbeer connoisseur, you need to sample this before it is too late.
That’s a few updates, anyway.
