Peppers!

Earlier this spring, I planted a number of plants around the yard. Some made it, some didn’t, some REALLY made it! Take a look!

Those are my giant cayenne peppers. We’ve got 2 dozen hanging there and a lot more left on the plants. The biggest one is 10″ long! They are in the process of air drying, which will take several weeks/months. They’re gorgeous, though! My own grandma doesn’t believe that I planted those. Take a look at the plants. They’re as tall as I am!

The other and larger plant is the poblano pepper plant. Peppers just started to show up about a week ago. I hope they get to maturity before the first frost comes along in about 3 weeks or so.

I have a pretty active basil bush and a GRIP of sage. I killed the cilantro after it came up. The rosemary & thyme didn’t even sprout. Next year, I guess. I have a semi-green thumb, it seems.

So if Pronetos and Unhampered both crash, we’re back to Shane’s idea of starting an organic produce farm, with Uncle Wyatt as head farmer.

Guess what? Anyone reading this is getting LGM brand Cayenne Pepper for just about every occassion next year, cuz we got lots of it!
