Yes, there was a big luau in Boise over the weekend. And because some of you asked, I decided to post a few of the shots from the event. This was Carol’s annual luau. Place was decorated real nice. Must have been 50-60 people there. We served pulled pork sandwiches, teriyaki chicken, Hawaiian pizza - you know a REAL luau (just like in Hawaii, right?). Anyway a good time was had by all.
There were fun and games - Foosball, the limbo (which Jaime won), and of course, slingnuts:

I got waxed in slingnuts by Carol’s son Preston, and a gal named Holly. As much as I would like to share the embarrassment of my loss with my team mate, I must keep that person’s identity a SECRET.
As the evening moved on, the hula dancers showed up and did a bunch of dances from various parts of the world. They were quite good:

They then tried to teach all of us how to hula dance. I was smart enough to know full well that I cannot get my hips to do that. White men can’t jump and they surely can’t hula dance. Here’s the proof:

See, that’s Wyatt right there in the middle of the picture proving that he had NO business trying to hula dance.
Yes, it was another LGM weekend. Good show, Carol.

I was shown up by no one but the dancers….and the other people standing there. Carol, great show! Thanks for all your effort. It was a blast!

A luau is only as much fun as the guests, well and the dancers of course. We had the best of both, thanks for making it a great party.
