Well on Wednesday I rode up to Sun Valley with The Idaho TechConnect folks and watched several businesses present before the Keiretsu Forum. This is a well organized group of angel investors, and the presentations I saw all featured strong management teams and some pretty good ideas.

There were 3 dozen or so angels there, all with quite a bit of experience from the feedback I saw them give to the companies. What seemed apparent to me as well was the the Keiretsu folks spent a lot of time nurturing these companies through the process - something that is really important at the seed level since for the most part, angels aren’t going to see tightly wrapped, ready made deals. So props to the Keiretsu organization for bringing a needed function to the financing food chain (NOTE: Boise Angel Alliance if you operate anything like this, you will become indispensable).

You heard already that we are code complete on Unhampered.us., and we’ll be catching up with unhampered designer David James at the Ubuntu Live conference in Portland next week. If anyone else is going to be there, let us know.

Uncle Wyatt is off fishing in Brookings with HABITT CEO, Jeremy Stockett, and we’ll all rally in PDX after they drain the Pacific of salmon.

That’s the week past and the week ahead. Still have some surprises in store, so stay tuned . . .
